A new iconic and exciting home for Science Alive!

Following the loss of their premises in Christchurch’s 2011 earthquake, Science Alive! a trust which promotes science and technology education, needed to relocate. We prepared the concept design for a new centre which converts the former law court buildings into a vibrant hub known as Victoria Quarter. The existing Tower was to be occupied by commercial tenants, and other spaces were to be be converted. New buildings expanded the existing with an iconic and exciting design that engaged visitors internally and externally, and offered stimulating flows through various exhibition and educational spaces.
