A hotel located adjacent to the Mountain Bike Course in the Whakarewarewa Forest, which is recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading mountain bike venues.

The new facility was designed to provide accommodation, recreation, events, retail and support for mountain biking and be an integrated and significant part of the tourism industry of Rotorua.

The scheme includes 110 rooms with accommodation for 200 guests with a mix of superior, corporate and budget rooms. Also included in the facility was a restaurant, bar, lounge, cellar, conference rooms, Manager’s residential quarters, administration offices, lap pool and gym, cycle shop, rental lockers / storage for mountain bikes, public changing rooms and showers.

The resort was iconic in its design and flexible in its planning to allow for future growth and uses.
