The Vinegar Lane precinct in Ponsonby was developed from one large site into independent small lots with 100% coverage, medium density, mixed use housing. Following a set of design guidelines intended to promote an eclectic mix of designs to a uniform height. We have designed Lot 30 to successfully fit into the fabric of the neighbourhood while asserting a unique presence on the street.

The Vinegar Lane precinct in Ponsonby was developed from one large site into independent small lots with 100% coverage, medium density, mixed use housing. Following a set of design guidelines intended to promote an eclectic mix of designs to a uniform height. We have designed Lot 30 to successfully fit into the fabric of the neighbourhood while asserting a unique presence on the street.
With four storeys of lift served apartments over ground floor retail space, the design brings urban vitality at street level and housing above serving a mix of incomes. The six metre wide site affords 2 bedrooms at the front and northwest facing living room and balcony at the rear. The third floor is similar in plan but a private stairway leads to the top level with generous main bedroom suite and expansive rooftop deck.
