Kainga Ora (previously Housing New Zealand) is committed to intensifying the density of housing on their existing properties throughout Auckland.

With lots on 128 and 130 Victoria Street and another on Jordan Avenue, the project’s brief was to replace 3 single-family homes with 12 new 2-bedroom units in a 3-storey walk-up configuration. We prepared a new prototype with a set of connected building forms articulated by distinct roofs and generous external stairs and balconies. Units are designed to Kainga Ora design standards and successfully balance cost and value.

We are enthusiastic about these developments and the opportunity to assist with the provision of housing for New Zealanders who may have no other way of achieving safe and comfortable accommodation.
