Pete has an extensive reputation in architecture and interior design, with particular experience in museums, galleries, residential and retail. He was the joint principal responsible for design and documentation of the architecture of the national Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington, whilst a Director at Jasmax, including interior design of all public and work spaces. With his partners, he guides the concept direction of all projects in the practice, and his work has received numerous architectural awards. He has exhibited and lectured extensively on his work here and overseas, including Tokyo, Vancouver, Santiago, and Australia. He has also taught architectural design for over 25 years, and was Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Unitec Architecture and Landscape School.
Pete’s work has been published in a wide variety of NZ and international publications, and a monograph of the practice was published in 2005. In 2012 Pete was awarded the NZIA Gold Medal, the highest honour in New Zealand Architecture. As well as the satisfaction of receiving so many awards from his architectural peers, one of the most gratifying aspects of his career is the long list of clients who have returned to commission more than one project.

Peter has extensive experience in delivering commercial projects across a wide range of project types, commercial office and retail development, industrial, public, health, mixed-use, apartments, visitor accommodation and residential throughout New Zealand and in the Pacific.
Peter’s experience with projects in the pacific region including Niue, Papua New Guinea and Honiara. He has recently completed the Te Awahou project facility in Foxton, incorporating additions and alterations to an existing warehouse to transform it into a Museum, Cafe, Library, Youth Space and incorporating meeting spaces. Park Hyatt Hotel in Auckland .
Peter provides his projects with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the building and construction process. His ability to apply his design skills through all project phases, resolve complex technical issues and manage project teams all contribute to the overall success of the project.

Practitioner
Finn has a range of experience across commercial, housing and mixed-use residential and materplanning project types. Finn makes an enthusiastic and constructive contribution to the design process and throughout all phases of a project.
Finn is an advanced user of CAD software, his technical aptitude facilitates concise deliverables within a projected timeframe. He has an effective approach to contract adminstration and is accustomed to following a project through to completion.
Finn also tutors part time at the Unitec School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, which keeps him up to date with cutting edge industry developments and constantly provides a refreshing perspective on design.
Dip Mgt, NZIM
Andrea has been with Bossley Architects since 2001. She assists with the organisation and administration of the company, with extensive experience in accounting, business communication, staff management and recruitment. She is responsible for project time-cost and management, through to budgeting and control.
Andrea has previously worked with other consultants in the industry including engineers and local authorities and has overseas experience in the finance industry.

Lynley has been involved in the Architecture industry for over 20 years, due to her abiding passion for the creation of built forms. She began working as a draftsperson, which consequently led to further Architectural studies. Lynley has now been practising as a registered Architect for over 10 years.
Lynley’s interest lies in the architectural process as a whole cycle, from inception through to built form. Having predominantly worked on residential projects she enjoys seeing a concept evolve through the various stages towards a finished product, working closely with clients she recognises the privilege of realising their dream, and the fulfilment of ideas by means of an architectural construction.
NDAT
Suzy has always had an interest in technical drawing and after 15 years in funds management decided on a career change towards a more creative outlet. She completed a NDAT in 2014 and has been with Bossley Architects since early 2015.
NZCD (Arch)
Don is one of our most experienced staff members and has over 45 years in the architectural profession. In this time he has worked on a variety of projects encompassing all building types and has gained extensive skill and knowledge in documentation, detail, construction methodology, buildability and materials.
His role in the practice also includes technical co-ordination of the documentation process to ensure the highest quality of information is delivered.
MArch (Prof) (Hons)
Dhruti completed her BAS from Unitec in 2016. Since then and prior to joining Bossley Architects in 2021, she has gained experience in a variety of commercial projects whilst also completing her Master’s part-time. She enjoys documentation detailing and is skilled in BIM modelling and visualisation, this combination allows her to be technically thoughtful right from the beginning of a project. She is passionate about creating better urban environments and her master’s research project highlighted this as it focussed on the improvement of pedestrian experiences in transit-oriented development.

Kevin has a range of experience across commercial, mixed-use residential and residential. He makes an enthusiastic and constructive contribution to the design process and throughout all phases of a project.
Kevin is an advanced user of CAD software; his technical expertise allows him to keep up to date with cutting edge industry developments and constantly provides an innovative perspective on projects.
Kevin also tutors part time at the Unitec School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and enjoys working with students and giving back and passing on knowledge.
