Ngā Hau Māngere Bridge wins a NZ Architecture Awards 2023

We are very proud that Ngā Hau Māngere Bridge received a New Zealand Award from Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZ Institute of Architects last night. The result of many years of consultation and commitment from our client Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, mana whenua and our great team of consultants. The award recognises the importance of the bridge as more than just a link: it is an inspirational asset for the local communities and Tāmaki Makaurau.
Congratulations to Contractors McConnell Dowell, Engineers Aurecon, Isthmus Landscape Architects, Arts collaborators Blacksand Bronze and Sunnah Thompson and artist Johnson Witehera. Steel fabricators were Eastbridge.
Finn Scott (Bossley), Ronnie Salunga (Waka Kotahi), David Pattinson (McConnell Dowell), Sean Burke (Isthmus) were on hand to receive the award in Wellington.
Congratulations also to all the other winners on the night, with many fantastic projects being awarded.
