Following the loss of their premises in Christchurch’s 2011 earthquake Science Alive! a trust which promotes science and technology education is relocating. Bossley Architects has completed the concept design for a new centre which converts the former law court buildings into a vibrant hub called Victoria Quarter. The existing Tower is to be occupied by commercial tenants, and other spaces will be converted. New buildings expand the existing with an iconic and exciting design that engages visitors internally and externally, and offers stimulating flows through various exhibition and educational spaces. The next stage of the project is due to begin in April 2016.
